XIMB Placement Committee

MBA, a decision that would forever change my life. MBA as a career prospect is very likeable to think about with the dreams of Fancy suits, Big corporate jobs and of course Money. This story is not about why I decided to pursue MBA but answers the most important question after you’ve decided to pursue it, where to pursue it from?

India has a lot of institutions which grants you with an MBA degree but only a few which actually preaches it. While shortlisting our choices we check the campus and its surrounding area, we ask our friends and relatives, check the alumni and most importantly the placements.  Either we are thinking what happens before we join or what kind of life we will have after we leave it but we again forget to think about a very important subject in the process, what happens during the stay? It’s the same thought that allowed me to answer the toughest question of my life. It is the same thought that allowed me to choose XIMB.

XIMB Placement records, batch size, surrounding area etc, all of them can be found using a simple internet search but what you don’t find on the internet is the culture that XIMB follows. I didn’t come to know about XIMB by some advertisement on the internet or some brochure in the newspaper, I came to know because people were talking about it and not just about the placements but the quality that it holds. It is known for being one of the most competitive B-schools in the country with enormous success in major corporate competitions such as Godrej Loud, Loreal Brandstorm, and Mahindra Warroom just to name a few. MBA at XIMB is not just sitting in a classroom and studying but more about implementing what you have learned.

Be it corporate competitions or inter-college activities, XIMB never shied away in front of a challenge. I don’t what to choose someone just because they have the capability to get me an offer after 2 years, I want an institution which can prepare me for the rest of my life and that’s why I chose XIMB.

Which ABG company I would want to work for?

Aditya Birla Capital, handing assets worth $37 billion, is not just another company in the Aditya Birla Group but a behemoth in the financial sector. Working for ABC would be a tremendous opportunity for anyone who wishes to grow in the field of finance with their diverse portfolio of services from insurance to advisory. Working for ABC would be like participating in a race where you are so ahead of the competition that it almost feels wrong. It is the kind of place where you’ll find plenty of challenge and even more competition. You can’t just survive at ABC, you need to succeed.
