IIM Raipur Admission Criteria 2025-27: Shortlisting of candidates for the GD and PI

CAT 2024 Index Score	50%
SSC/Class X Percentage Score	20%
HSC/Class XII Percentage Score	20%
Gender Diversity Score (female/ transgender candidates)	7%
Academic Diversity Score	3%

• The aptitude and analytical skills of the candidate are represented through the CAT 2024 score, and this constitutes 50% weightage
• Class X and XII Grades (20% weights to each ): Academic performance in upper secondary school is considered to evaluate consistency in academic excellence.
• Candidates can get only one of academic or gender diversity.

IIM Raipur Final Selection and Merit List Preparation Post PI 2025-27

Stage 2 shortlisted candidates undergo the Personal Interview round of the PA process. IIM Raipur will conduct the GDPI rounds in these 8 cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Guwahati, and Raipur. The final selection is based on a composite score calculated from the following factors:

• Profile Score: 

1. 3 Marks- For completing graduation in select fields from the Top 10 NIRF 2024 ranked institutes.
2. 1 Mark: For CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS/MBBS/Master of Law (LLM)/Master of Pharmacy (MPharm)/Master of Design (MDes)/Master in Agricultural Science (MScAg).
3. 1 Mark: For CFA level 1, 2, or 3 certification.

• Work Experience Calculation: Experience less than 6 months is not evaluated. Work experience between 24 and 36 months receives the highest score of 15 marks.

Ans. No, IIM Raipur has opted out of the common admission process 2025-27. It will hold its GDPI Process independently.

Ans. Yes, for GDPI shortlisting 20% weightage is assigned to each of the 10th and 12th class scores.
