To make true unique beings of humans, it is asked of them to have both a provider and an enabler. One without the other is either meaningless or directionless. IIM Udaipur is both of those above. It provides with the infrastructure of inspiration, built on a solid foundation of academic eminence and enables imagination based on the underpinnings of mutual respect. Swami Vivekananda said, “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man”. By focusing on being at the forefront of academic excellence, the Institute ensures that each individual is the fullest that one can be and more. The primary driver of this excellence is the orientation towards research that the Institute has, signifying the prominence placed on learning by the Institute. More often than not, research has a way of quelling claims put forth by even established theories. Incorporating such findings in the classroom not only helps one to think outside the shackles of established ways, but also helps the student to stay grounded with the reality that awaits one on the culmination of the course of study.
Imagination is what draws a fine line between all beings human and otherwise. One of the primary emphases of the Institute is to enable and bolster creative thinking, achieved through various non-academic exercises. This emphasis is even more significant in the present age of synthetic intelligence. The Institute aims to help one grow their EQ than IQ. Upon returning from the summer internship program, a reorientation session focused solely on introspection and self-reflection is organized for the students to help them analyze the journey so far on the road not taken and being the pathfinders of tomorrow. The Institute also lends help to nurture commercial ideas of the students, both financially as well as academically.

Being set in the picturesque midst of the great Aravalli ranges, it is as much a place to rejuvenate one’s energies as it is to expend them on scholastic ventures. Be it a late night walk beneath the stars or an early morning jog surrounded by the resplendent rays of the Rising Sun, it is an experience better felt than penned. The same coupled with the old-world charm of the city of yore is the perfect formula for a sense of tranquillity that is reflected onto the minds of its inhabitants. Which Aditya Birla Group division would you want to work at and why?
Given the opportunity, I would like to work for Aditya Birla Capital, especially the Mutual Fund wing, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC. The AMC is my first preference because I believe that my interests and competencies lie in this sector. With some experience by helping in my father’s investment advisory firm, I have strengthened my conviction to work in the financial services industry.
