Hello there! If you have passed, qualified, applied or are interested in CAT exam and see your present/future in management, then you must have come across the name IIM Udaipur.
IIM in itself is a tag which you would want yourself to associate with or if you have been there - you’ll cherish for the rest of your life. It has some of the best-in-business facilities, faculties, resources (in terms of library, sports, gymkhana, and other in-house necessary services) along with a reputed and sellable brand image. But this is something which you all know out there. So, I would like to bring your attention towards something unique and different that our campus possesses.
Ten kilometres outside the hustle and noise of the city lies the new and under-construction campus of IIM Udaipur. The college is situated atop hills and offers some breath-taking views along with mesmerizing sunrise and sunset. After a long day of classes, when you get back to your room, you just wish to open your window and immerse yourself into the cold breeze that sweeps through you. The Aravalli Ranges visible at the horizon adds to the beauty. Post snacks in the evening, it is sight-seeing time for all the juniors and seniors as they climb to the never-ending stairs alongside the Hostel mess to take a glimpse of nature along with refreshing their minds with cool breeze.
Apart from the ever-impressive and highly immersive environment, IIM Udaipur also offers a lot through its unique design/structure of its campus. Spread across 300 acres, and already embarked on a journey to build a state-of-art campus, there are many firsts that are planned and under construction and much more to come in the coming years. Right after you enter through the main entrance, you are going to be welcomed by (in a couple of years to come) a vast pond very next to the Academic Block. It is under construction now, however, much of the work has already been completed. Along with that, you are welcomed by unique stone walls of IIM Udaipur which are made up of local stones instead of bricks and gives you a royal feeling. Along with the campus built on top of hills, all the hostels (we call it clusters here) are built in such a manner that it gives you the feeling of residing in a fort. The multi-storied under-construction library which is being built on a suspension bridge is another upcoming treat to watch.
The whole campus has a lot to offer in terms of tranquillity and peace along with multiple upcoming projects that are taking shape under the supervision of our Director - Professor Janat Shah. Though, much of the campus is under construction and will take a couple of years before we have our own full-fledged campus, the fact that being a part of it and having participated in shaping its future, gives us immense pleasure and we wish that it becomes what it stands for, real soon.

If given a chance, I would like to work for Aditya Birla Capital division of Aditya Birla Group. I am interested in Finance domain and nothing gets better than an opportunity to showcase and utilize your abilities and skills in the concerned domain with one of the stalwarts in the industry. Being one of the largest financial service players in India, Aditya Birla Capital would provide me with diverse learnings and opportunities that will help me grow in the future. With its strong presence in general insurance, equity, currency, and commodity broking, Aditya Birla would prove out to be a perfect launchpad for me in learning nuances of diverse roles.
