Hard work, connections and holistic development were the three things I had in my mind when I came to the MDI campus. I made a goal that I will focus on these three things while I am in MDI. In just one month, the B-School gave me an extremely new experience which I had not experienced before. There were days when I did not get more than three hours of sleep and had to work the coming day. But at the same time I feel like these things were really important for getting us used to this life for the next two years.
The ten days of the induction period helped me to fully exploit my potential and to make the best possible use out of it. When I look back to those ten days, it was a really worthy phase of my life. Work to a deadline and time management were some of the things those days inculcated in me.
If we see the corporate world then the above mentioned skills are really helpful. Without these skills, no one can manage to adhere to the work environment and as a result he may not perform to his fullest.
I am interested in making a career in finance. I would like to work in the field of asset and wealth management as I got interested in these domains while studying about them in my under graduation. If I get an opportunity to work with Aditya Birla Group, I would like to join Aditya Birla Capital Limited. While working with them, I would make sure that the skills inculcated by MDI in me are properly utilised and best use is made out of them.
The reason behind choosing this company is that it has a really great working atmosphere which is a prerequisite for every employee. Apart from this it also follows the open door policy which gives employees a feeling that they are essential part of the company. It also provides a huge amount of growth opportunities by giving freedom to employees and by implementing an informal culture.
