Typically on the first day of college, you are surrounded by a lot of unknown faces who are as nervous as you are, if not more. Most of them are either trying to initiate a conversation or be a part of one. Being exposed to such a different environment, everybody is dressed to impress in order to leave the best possible first impression on each other since that tends to go a long way. On such crucial events, you tend to rely on a brand that conveys the idea of YOU to the people around.

Forever 21 is that brand for me. It instills me with confidence to put my best foot forward and tackle whatever that comes my way. The pastel color collection of the said brand aligns with my interests making it a perfect fit for me. Be it the first day of the college, or the placement time in the last semester of college which happens to be another crucial event, where we have to have our A game on in terms of wearing the right attire, it definitely is the first step towards setting the right impression to the recruiters. In such stressful situations, I was backed by my partner in need, Allen Solly. It helped me to dress impeccably for the said event and set the right tone. It has now become my go-to brand for getting formals. It has contributed in making my life a lot easier thereby leaving an impact on me.

What are the Challenges that you faced in your life and how you overcame it?

 Boards

This is a word that is considered as a make or break in a student’s life. Some even say it influences the future prospects of the students. That one famous line that all of us are told when it comes to giving boards is – “If we perform well in boards, we are set for life”. So imagine my horror when I got to know that I am down with chicken pox just days before my board exams begin. It was an extremely challenging time in my life as the boards were of the utmost importance on one side, and my health wasn’t up to date on the other. Balancing both of them was going to be a tough task as I was advised by the doctor to be on a bed rest and not to strain my eyes given my condition. But because of my stubbornness, backed by my want to score well in my boards, I wasn’t ready to be a victim in the said situation. So I pushed my limits physically and mentally both, in order to achieve the target that I set out to achieve. With my sheer will power to keep going no matter what obstacle came by and my never-ending patience to not give up, I was able to overcome this hurdle and ended up scoring the marks that made me a strong believer in the idea of perseverance, and taught me the most important lesson in life – hard work always and always pays off.
