Would you still keep working hard, if you knew you are going to fail? Well, you would wonder why it says 'rote,' because in my case, it has been a very vulnerable journey. I would describe it as a Roller Coaster Ride with lots of ups and downs (mostly downs). But the final up was worth all the downs and efforts.
Well, it's not a story of success or failure, but it's a journey with a lot of lessons to learn. The Roller Coaster Ride!
I remember my best friends telling me, "Ek baar de toh de CAT, aage ka dekh lenge!". And I finally filled my CAT form! And then the ride started. After that, to whomever, I talked about it all of them said just one thing "As a fresher, it is really difficult maybe not possible also." Some of them even said "IIMs toh possible nai hai" a lot of demotivation came along. I had constant sleepless nights thinking whether all of my efforts would go in vain? What if I fail? What if I fail terribly? Having a lot of questions in mind, I gave my first mock, and I just scored 30 marks in it. I told my friend about it, and she asked me out of 300? That day I realized maybe it's not possible, and I decided I should give up.
