The first thing that comes to my mind about the interview process was UNIQUE. Everything from shortlisting to interview day and all the processes during the interview were just flawless. We were given the time slot for the interview which was also good as it helps to prepare our mindset and also to get in that zone for many people as it is very important. Though not given the exact time of the interview I thought we will get bored in anticipation of when will be the interview and those who have an interview at the end of the slot(like me) won't be able to perform. But they had Tom & Jerry going on the whole time in the waiting area which was great as you need to switch off and relax sometimes. AdCom members were also patient enough to solve everyone's doubt at every stage though the same question asked repeatedly by different people.
I have organised events during my UG college and so I know how minute details are key for the success of any event. Also being online is itself a huge challenge but Adcom members were on target with the idea of conducting interviews on Gather and making it as close as possible to the offline interview process. Sometimes these things may get intimidating as you may think what if I don't perform well in the interview, what if I don't get into good B-School as for most it is the last degree and everyone wants to make this degree count.
I had such things in every interview process for other B-school but at the SJMSOM interview process I was very chill and most importantly in a good state of mind without any stress. After completing the whole season of interviews when I analyzed every process, difference I found at SJMSOM was I never thought that what if this interview went bad or what if I don't get selected. This was possible due to small talks(Ice-Breaker) that Adcom members had maybe during document verification, during solving any doubts and during interview the professors were just pushing to get best out of me which I didn't experienced in any other interview.
