My school is very diverse. I like how diversity brings people together. I am pleased to have many friends from different backgrounds. IIM Indore has a lovely campus. During the monsoon, I enjoy watching leaves change colour around campus. They have many student groups, clubs, and other cool activities. My favourite activity is the free movies that students can attend for free every weekend. It has a very diverse student body so that students can meet people from varying backgrounds. The bus service on campus is very convenient for my friends and me to travel around campus or nearby places. The best thing about IIM Indore is the way the community is accepting of different individuals. I love walking along campus, passing different groups of students in different styles, protesting different beliefs, and discovering new ideas all the while. Everyone has a different passion and is active in this passion both on and off campus. All of the passions are accepted, even by opposing students.
In our French class, we had Ms Neha Bhagat going on with her usual French verbs and nouns. The class was half way through, and most of us had dozed well and good that morning. She saw all of us and said screamed out joy saying, "Why don't we sing a good French song?". We were all like, "Woah, fine we will try, any day better than nouns, verbs and adjectives." Then our professor all went singing "Stromae - Alors On Danse" playing it on the speakers. Suddenly, she asked all of us to start singing and wouldn't mind dancing as well. Then slowly we all moved one by one to the class stage and started singing and dancing. It was indeed a very memorable and enjoyable class. That class created a fad for French songs in our batch, and still, some people are hung over with those French songs. Then another noteworthy class that I remember is the first class of our college, by Prof. G.K. Srinivasan. He is a math wizard. For the first time, I met someone who could use math as a language. I could see him enjoying every moment of his class teaching us. Unknowingly this enjoyment that he carried while teaching was very contagious. Some of his delights came into many of us even though the math never made it. His classes were an experience instead of learning.
Which ABG company would I like to work for and why?
I want to work for LP Jeans. I believe that it is one of the brands which has such an assortment of jeans. The shirts of LP Jeans collection are classics. This brand stands up for the inspirations of modern and young India. I would love working with such a modern and contemporary team that is into conceiving such products day in and day out. Finally, it's a privilege to work with India's largest clothing retail brand and be a part of the movement in defining India's fashion for India's youth over the coming years.
