From the very first day when we arrive at campus various Students activities start, it gives a flavour of the next two years at IIM Indore. In the first year, we get associated with various SAC bodies. These bodies do organize various cultural and social event. We celebrate every festival at Planet-I, student activities start right from the day we enter the campus Like competitions of various clubs and committees. The college organises various Industry Meets, where students can interact with Industry people. This year IIM Indore will be hosting TEDx in the month of July.
The campus is unique in various ways like it is known for its infrastructure and it green lust, personal vehicles for students are not allowed that also makes campus stay Green and Clean. We call this beautiful place as Planet-I, because when we are on campus its like complete planet for us, that leads to good bonding among the student community.
Every basic facility which you may demand from food to entertainment to sports to academics to laundry to tailor shop IIM I have these. Our Campus is located atop a hill so it’s even more serene roaming on the zig zag Institute roads etc. The minus points are that it's of around 25kms from the city so in case you want something valuable you need to go far, but all daily use items are available in Pi-Shop, a completely student-driven retail shop called as Pi-shop
In the first year of the PGP program, we have a course called as Rural Immersion Program, that helps us get a touch of rural India. The Rural Immersion Program gives an enriching and memorable experience to each participant.
In the second year the college arranges Himalayan Outbound Program (HOP) which one of the best programs to attend.
The best part is the diversity at the campus. You can always find something or the other happening at the campus and some kind of celebration going. The best part is the night mess which starts at 11:30 in the night and goes on till 4am. It is a place with great food where students after the hardest of days sit together to share. Along with the mess food various options are available in the campus which makes life more easier. The campus is the best ones you can find. The life with the academic schedule is manageable and doesn't take a toll on you. It's fun to be in the class of some of the best teachers
