Planet-I is synonymous to one of the most prestigious b-schools of India – IIM Indore. Although there are no aliens on this planet, there is something different about the creatures that live here. Below is some insight:
1. The agnostic
Satyajit is one of those guys who believe in nothing that they have never seen, hence, “the agnostic”. To make his point he can argue with anyone including the professors. He is very extreme and focused in his approach in life, devoting all his time to the tasks, one at a time. A fitness freak, a devotee of Lord Shiva, finance lover, he is one of the guys whose determination anyone would love to have.
2. The fin-telligent
There are people who are intelligent, but this guy is fin-telligent. He is so obsessed with finance that all the discussions with him end up in some or the other form of a fin-talk. Loves to make plans and then loves, even more, to not follow them. He is one of the eldest and the most experienced member of the batch with a knowledge repository that he loves to share. Lives in his own world, highly motivated, a true hard worker and a very kind-hearted man, this man is worth being friends with.
3. The Party Host
Feeling like partying? This is the guy to run to. A host who provides a “first-copy” of world-class ambience, in possession of all genres of music, holds limitless consumables, these parties are a privilege to be in. More so, a great companion to talk to and hangout with. An awesome singer, a taste for salsa, very creative, a sense of coolness in everything, has one of the best networks in the institute, Omkar is the “Jugaadu” guy of IIM Indore.
4. The “Why so serious?” girl
There are times when we feel that some seriousness needs to find its way in our lives. Trijya is the girl to find at these moments. Trijya is so serious that she can be a perfect critic for even a joke. A perfect DJ for a party owing to her being sober. Likes to keep herself apart from all kinds of hogwash, high degree of focus in whatever she does, a perfect HR candidate, a dal-makhani lover and a follower of a simplistic lifestyle, Trijya has a perfect balance to everything.
Which company of ABG would I like to work for?
I would like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion Retail. Aditya Birla Fashion Retail emerged in 2015 with a merger of the renowned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group, ‘Pantaloons’ and Madura Fashion Limited.
ABFRL is India’s No.1 fashion lifestyle entity and with a growth rate of 18% (from 2017 to 2018 YoY). World-renowned brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England are brands owned by ABFRL. It has also a presence outside India with brands like Ted Baker.
ABFRL is known for the learnings and challenging work that is provided. I think it is one of the dream companies for sales and marketing aspirants and if given a chance would like to work with ABFRL.
