TISSNET 2022 was conducted successfully on 26th February. The structure was the same as that of last year. The test was online and had 3 sections – General Awareness (40 questions), Mathematical and Logical Reasoning (30 questions) and English Proficiency (30 questions): A total of 100 questions for 100 marks. TISSNET 2022 Analysis - Section-wise
General Awareness
According to Career Launcher, an attempt of 20-30 questions, with an effective score of 25, can be considered a good one.A student should have attempted all the questions with 60-65% accuracy. A score of 22-24 (out of 40) should be ideal for this section. However, a good student could have easily scored 27.
According to IMS, about 12-14 questions were easy, 15-17 were medium and 9-10 were difficult. This section was easier compared to last year’s test. A score of 20-21 would be a good benchmark. Attempting all GA questions would not have taken more than 15-20 minutes.
Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
Arithmetic dominated like last year, with 12 questions. The DI section consisted of 2 sets that had 3 questions each. The Logical Reasoning part of the section had only 2 questions from Number Series & Alphabet Series.
According to Career Launcher, a well-prepared student could easily score 25-26 marks in this section.
According to IMS, a good score for this section would be 25-26 marks. By allotting 35-40 minutes to this area, one should have ideally solved at least 24-26 questions correctly and marked the answers to the remaining, as there was no negative marking.
English Proficiency
According to IMS, most of the questions in this section were of easy to moderate level. A good score for this section would be 24-25 and the suggested time allocation for this section would have been 35-40 minutes.
According to Career Launcher, the options were easy to eliminate. Hence, a student should have got most of the questions correct. A well-prepared student can expect to score 20-22 in this section.
