Imagine a situation, where for 3 days, you don’t get even a drop of water to drink. Now, imagine that just when you started thinking for quitting, you come across a pool filled with drinking water. Now, what would be your initial reaction? I am sure most of you will impulsively say, that I’ll jump into it, to drink as much water as much my body will permit. Well, for me, the analogy of the above situation and joining XIMB is same. After being knowledge deprived for most of my life, coming to XIMB has brought a staggering change inside me, in just half a month. The knowledge flow in the campus is so much, that even the nature inside the campus seems to have incorporated it. The trees of Ashoka, along the path from academic building to the hostel seems like a silent guardian, who is secretly watching you as you are taking the same path, which has a glory of 30 years attached with it. The playground, enough to fit twenty thousand people during Eastern India's biggest B-school festival in lonely time, seems to say, that- so what, that I lay barren for most of the year, but when the situation demands, I can bring out the best and give people once a lifetime experience. It is this never quit attitude that helps Ximbians to come out victorious even when things are not in control. Call it the campus atmosphere, or the legacy of 30 years, once you step inside the campus, trust me, you'll never be the same.
Which ABG company I would want to work for and why?
Aditya Birla Group- a conglomerate, whose companies shares a vision of working together to create social value and make a positive difference to the consumers and communities they serve is what attracts me to be one of the driving force, in helping build a better business environment. With this passion, I want to be a part of ‘Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd.’. The segment and across channels in which ABFRL operates is what makes me feel that, this is the place where I can grow both in professional and personal terms. This will be the place, where I will be able to share my ideas freely, as well as gain other's perspective, where my creativity and skills will be nurtured and where I can truly say this is ABFRL and I am proud to be a part of it.
