What Makes My Campus Unique?
Amidst the temple city of India, there lies the pagoda for future leaders of the country – XIMB. The journey for an XIMBian starts with Bhaina’s chai and ends in the most coveted corporate environments.
This is the B-School where we get a taste of how our two years will be through Pre-Course Assignments. Our seniors put in their heart and soul to help juniors pull up their socks and be ready at all hours of the day for any case competitions, group discussions, group presentations and interviews. All this starts before our academic classes commence. In a way, the pre-course assignments make each, and every XIMBian realize the importance of discipline!
The campus is home to various flora and fauna. It fills your heart with peace when you see a squirrel crossing your way while going to class. Compassion is the most remarkable trait which is instilled in every person inside the campus. This is evident when you see a bunch of students feeding stray dogs after a hectic day. We don’t have Mrs Norris but we do have Simba, the friendliest cat you can come across.
The basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, indoor stadiums and X-Café are places, where the ice breaks. This the reason why everyone knows everyone here.
When academics drains all our energies, X-Walks with friends, roll seniors, faculty, mess bhainas come to our rescue.
This campus never sleeps, you can find groups of students discussing on the next big idea at 3 in the morning in gir1 mess or Cenderet stairs, and you can also find yoga, gym and sports enthusiasts kick-starting the mornings of XIMB.
And the legacy continues!
Which ABG company do I want to work for and why?
I have a proclivity to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL). Having come from an engineering background and worked in core sectors, I would now love to expand my domain of interest towards the fashion and retail business. Having possessed a keen interest in fashion, I always have exalted ABFRL, and it would be an honour to be associated with such a brand even if it requires the maximum amount of efforts from me. Apart from it, I am inclined towards exploring and gaining new skills of retail business which I can gain from ABFRL platform.
