I had left my job and aspired to pursue my MBA from one of the reputed b-schools in the country. That’s the time I heard about XIM-B. Located at the heart of the country’s first smart city, the college with it’s impressive placement records and rich alumni base made me drool over it even before the game began. Still, like all the other future managers, I had some apprehensions about the lifestyle, curriculum and of course how will be my experience. And soon the D-day arrived. As I walked past inside the illustrious gates of XIM-B, at Jaydev Vihar, an entirely different world welcomed me with it’s open arms. I started meeting new people and once I started interacting I got amazed to come across the diverse profile, experiences as well as stories from them. The first thing that I learnt was the art of networking. Having worked at multinational companies, I was aware of the process of networking. But here I got to learn how fruitful the process can be and how it brings the best in you.
The very next day began with the classes and I will be indebted to the faculties who were courteous enough to clarify even the silliest of doubts with utmost patience. The rich pedagogy that is being followed not only helps to clear the concepts but also shapes us to prepare for the real-life challenges in a very much amicable fashion.
All work and no play certainly would have made me dull and thankfully it did not happen courtesy X-Sports, the interdepartmental sports fiesta. We competed, we lost some, we won some but eventually, we created memories in the process.
When I left my home bidding adieu to my parents, I was sceptical about my decision about my future and expected a life that will shape me as a better human being helping me to overcome new challenges. Never ever I thought that it will help me creating memories. As I end here my note today, the journey has already begun and I am proud to be an XIMBEE- a voyage of two years, the memories of a lifetime.

To become a part of one of the biggest conglomerate will always be a dream come true and I would love to cherish that moment by being a part of Aditya Birla Retail Limited, India’s first food and grocery retailer to have received the FSMS certification. As the nation goes digital, I with an experience in IT and enthusiasm in Retail Marketing finds myself suited to prove my mettle for this illustrious venture of the Aditya Birla Group.
