Hi Karan... scored 76% in CAT 2016 without any preparation. scored 70 in quant 90.9 in english and around 18 in DI. Help me to improve. I want to get a score that would be enough for a FPM call from IIMB or IIMA

A die-hard Roger Federer fan, Karan is a singer and a musician who plays three percussion instruments. After spending the first 24 years of his life in Delhi, he finally found solace in the beautiful campus of IIM Kozhikode. Known simply as Kakkar among his friends, he prides myself on having watched all the IMDB top 250 movies in a single summer long movie marathon. He served as one of the student team members/writers of insideIIM.com, representing IIM Kozhikode.

Concentrate on every section at the same time: 1. It will help you in concentrating for longer durations while studying 2. Avoid having weaknesses since IIMs have sectional cutoffs

Being an average reader, I am reading every day till date I have finished 150 RC with an average accuracy of 47 percent in time constraint (15 mins on an average) with moderate difficulty. Now, recently I had changed my pattern and started practicing from Arun Sharam with daily one test without time constraint where I am focusing more on accuracy and attempt part and side by side reducing time. (past few days graph of accuracy is increasing) Will it help or should I opt for any new strategy ?? Please help

Its good to know that you have calculated your accuracy and speed levels. Why not do them both? read without time constraints (1 hr daily) and Timed sectional tests (1 hr). That should increase both your accuracy and speed. But keep in mind that every individual has different capabilities and hence you might have to work out your own strategy. All the best!!

Hey Yatin, for the verbal section focus on the analysis of mocks questions. See how your interpretation was different from what was given in the solutions. TITA questions are tough in the sense that you cannot answer using option elimination. There really is no magic solution just keep practicing and you will start getting them right.
