There was a time when I use to consider IIM Indore only as one of the premier B school in the country. An institute where everyone will be always in their books and busy with submissions and presentations this is what most of the B school have scenario across the campus. But that is not the case with IIM Indore.
MY institute has almost 193 acres of a huge area close to Pithampur Special Economic Zone, which makes it one of the biggest campuses across the country. Just to say 193 acres and to explore that huge area is a completely different thing. I will not only say it’s a beautiful campus but also I will prefer to say it’s a thoughtfully developed campus. Starting from infrastructure, Entrance of academic block itself will give you a feeling of a premier institute. Opposite to academic block is PGP office where students get grilled for various administrative reasons and library with all types of books and magazine which you hardly can read during your term one. Besides PGP office we have old auditorium reserved for student activities, all these said buildings are on a kind of hilltop. To reach these holy destinations you have to climb upstairs irrespective of you being PGP1 or PGP 2 but a number of steps will vary depending on your hostel location. Student hostels have sufficient space to play any game with group of 7-8 people. Hostels for PGP 1 are in front of cricket stadium hence you can get a good view of the live action in the stadium.
The best part of the campus is our sports complex which has an Olympic size swimming pool, tennis court and gym for the fitness enthusiast. Swimming on a warm day is the most relaxing thing in the campus. Food is an important factor in any location. Campus have total 5 mess for students of which some are run by institute and others by private vendors. To meet daily needs of more than 1500 people we have something called as pi shop within the campus which is a student-run retail shop where you can buy your all necessary requirements. There are other ventures which serve various delicacies,”Poha Point” and “Adda” is most famous among students. All business strategies and plans or assignments are developed either at poha point or at adda. At adda student prefer to spend time during night hours with their buddies. This is not the only place where you can hang out, remember guys its 193-acre campus. We have a place call Titanic point from where you get good view of sunset. It’s very difficult to cover entire campus in one day.
Last but not the least doesn’t get surprised if you see muster of peacocks just a few meters away from you within the campus.

If I have the opportunity to join conglomerate like ABG then I would like to join Aditya Birla Capital. I want to join an organization where I can use my past experience of BFSI domain and my learnings at IIM Indore. Aditya Birla Capital is under the brand of Aditya Birla Group Financial Services is one of the largest asset management company in India. With its presence across wide financial service domains, it will provide me immense learning opportunities and valuable experience. Aditya Birla capital will provide me with a platform to hone my corporate skills and get exposure to the latest industry trends and practices. It will be a good platform where I can show my leadership skill for benefit of the organization.
