Curious And Curiouser - IIM Kashipur
We are not short of crazy people anywhere in India. The same stands in IIM Kashipur campus too. Though craziness is a relative concept and there is no proper scale to measure it, I think these are the craziest people in our college. I am not going to name them but I will continue with names as R, S, A, P.
The Loving Lap Of Nature And The Chaos
What makes IIM Kashipur unique?
Red Building Of Dreams - R Sneha, FMS Delhi
I am a student of the “Red Building of Dreams” where the number of dreams realized per square foot is the highest. FMS is the oldest Management School in India and therefore a number of great leaders have walked out of these gates. We are at the heart of the Nation and the National Capital. This gives us an opportunity to be a part of great events, debates, represent our views on national television and also be a part of live projects. This kind of exposure is unparalleled.
Red Building Of Dreams - Garima Gupta, FMS Delhi
Hello, I am Garima Gupta, a first-year student at Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. I have been here for 21 days only, but feel a sense of belongingness as if this has always been my place. Our campus is not just a normal B-school, it is ‘The Red Building of Dreams’. It is the place where dreams are fulfilled. We are a small college with a big heart. Everyone feels welcomed over here and there is a special treat for dog lovers out there.
Red Building Of Dreams - Erlu Varaha Rajeev, FMS Delhi
Our campus known as The Red Building of Dreams is one of a kind B school in India. One of the most unique features of our campus is its culture, and also being a part of a parent university makes it unique from other autonomous B schools in India. Also not having a residential campus makes all the surrounding places our meeting places and we run into each other very often. Also the extra effort we put in to meet for our group projects and group tasks at someone’s house gives us more freedom and helps us bond more. The best thing is the lower batch size which makes it easy to build connections across batches and second years are always happy to help first years.
Red Building Of Dreams - Kumar Ravi, FMS Delhi
My campus is also called the red building of dreams. What makes it unique is the density of dreams in the building. The 2-acre campus is power packed with champions and its impossible to not feel the cohesion once you are inside. There are big tanks and small grenades, my campus is a nuclear missile packed in a pen. That is the kind of concentration of force which is present here to propel the FMSites forward in the business world. We all carry the same kind of concentration within us too. This campus creates synergies unparalleled. The synergies are between every feature of the campus, be it students, faculties or staff. Everyone is a synchronised part of this power-packed system and this is how my campus becomes the unique red building of dreams.
Red Building Of Dreams - Bhavya Gupta, FMS Delhi
My college, Faculty of Management studies or FMS, also known as ‘Red building of Dreams’ is situated in the heart of North Campus of the University of Delhi. It is present at one of the liveliest locations as the whole area is surrounded by multiple colleges. You will find other b-schools being located on large areas of land as opposed to FMS which is just a small building with very limited space. But these constraints have never stopped FMS from being one of the top institutions of the country. We, at FMS, believe in utilizing these resources to the best of our abilities and this is where resource management is instilled from the very beginning in us. This campus has already given me a lot of memories in a span of just one month. A memorable classroom experience was during a marketing session when we were given a task to work on jingles for house of brands advertisement. We worked in teams to put on our thinking caps and got to produce some creative and catchy signals. It really intrigued our interests at the fact that how much thought has to be put in such a task that we had considered so trivial. Life is all about learning new things and I feel that I am doing it the most at FMS.
