The uniqueness of my campus is the number of institutes on the campus. Currently, there are three institutes in the campus, they are:

My First Day At My New College, MDI
I just can’t forget my first day in the college. It was a very different experience, which was mainly because I got admission from the open counselling. Therefore, I actually joined two weeks late. So, when I entered the college, I experienced a different vibe altogether. There were birds chirping and students rushing for the classes but it still it felt different from my graduation college for some reason. I too just placed my luggage in my allotted room and rushed to the class.

IIM Raipur - What Makes The B-School Unique
IIM Raipur situated in the heart of Chhattisgarh, in the outskirts of the capital of Chhattisgarh, Raipur away from the hustle of the city life which lets students concentrate on their academic and extra-curricular activities, the campus is around 17km away from the airport because of which it is well connected to major cities of the country like Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. IIM Raipur, IIT Bhilai, and, GEC Raipur operate in close proximity which results in interaction between students of diverse educational backgrounds leading to new ideas, implementation of which could possibly be of great advantage to the society in terms of utility as well as business purposes.

A few months back I got Interview calls from Few Colleges, nothing was certain at this point. I just had a vague idea about MBA program, started my research regarding this program and tried to identify my priorities for pursuing this program and I would choose a campus which would offer me a chance to satisfy my priorities. Learned a lot From researching and figured out my priorities but at this point, I only had interview calls Nothing was certain about where I will end up pursuing MBA program.

I had heard that one will never be able to forget one’s 2 years spent at a B-school. Well, it’s been only a month and I’m convinced with this notion. This new life feels like an exam I didn’t prepare for. Chaos is the new order. And, when your life is in chaos, you have no option but to fall in love with the madness. From the 1st day itself, I had started witnessing the bizarreness. One of the key learning till now is getting suited up in just couple of minute. Attending sessions in business suits give a feeling of a professional rather than of a student.

Why I Chose IIM Raipur - Kranthi Kumar Macha
As far as my knowledge goes, I did not come across anyone from Pharmacy background who did an MBA, that too from an IIM, before joining IIM Raipur. I was a bit hesitant and intimidated before joining the course by seeing the profiles of students at CAP interviews, the majority were from IITs or NITs and others were from reputed commerce colleges across India. I thought I would be left out in the competition as I was the only guy who is from a pharmacy background in my batch.
