I have been in IIM Raipur for over a couple of weeks and I was awestruck with the uniqueness of the campus.
The Unified Campus: At a B-School you are expected to be on time - be it classes, sessions, placements or what so ever. And everyone knows how scarce sleep is in B-Schools. IIM Raipur currently operates from a single building. The hostels, the mess, the classes, the offices, the gym, the library and what not. All in a single building. And guess what? It may seem a con, but, trust me this is the best thing that can happen. Even if you wake up half an hour prior to class time, you can get ready, have breakfast and still have 10 minutes in your pocket. You forgot a notes? No problem..!! In the all in one campus it takes just 2 minutes to get from room. Feeling sleepy? Does a proper power nap ups your energy? One minute to reach your room, 13 minutes of power nap and one minute to reach the class.
The Fortification of Smart City: Naya Raipur is one of the five cities across the country which were chosen as demonstration cities by the Centre for their project Sustainable Urban Transport Project (SUTP). It is being planned and built in an area of 411.5 hectares. The new campus of IIM Raipur, will be one of the feathers in the cap of Naya Raipur. The campus is being built in an area of around 200 acres. Being one of the very few smart cities in India and having the geographical advantage of being equidistant from almost all over India, IIM Raipur is going to see a huge surge in its brand value in the near future. The day is not so far away when IIM Raipur will be on the same page as the top IIMs.
The touch of Green: Imagine you’re riding your bike at a slow pace on tree-fringed wide road. There is no loud honking around or nasty traffic snarls as the traffic moves smoothly down the 4-lane road. There are no pot holes, dug up patches or even a single wire above; because everything from electricity to internet, is efficiently networked underground. The feeling is amazing and all the stress that has taken a toll will go on a stroll. Naya Raipur is one of the first Greenfield cities in India with around 27% reserved for recreational and green areas. And apart from this, the campus itself has a huge reserves of greenery. And with such a greenery all around, life would be as rejuvenating as ever.
Other unique features: The campus is a state-of-the-art campus presenting a blissful mix of modern architecture, culture & heritage of Chhattisgarh. One of the very few IIMs whose admission policies strive to rope in students from various backgrounds, thereby giving diversity a top preference.

The Aditya Birla Group Company I would like to work with is Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company Private Limited. My prime motto behind joining MBA or rather IIM is not to change my career path, but to leap to new heights in the IT industry which was my passion right from the beginning. I have been looking to channel my career towards IT Analytics and ABSTCPL provides Analytical Sciences as one of its main services. I want to join ABSTCPL, take up the challenges and deliver whatever the esteemed customers and Aditya Birla Group expects from me.
