I arrived at IIM Kashipur on 29 June 2018 at around 6:30 pm. I was absolutely overwhelmed to find the lush green campus with red brick buildings. The green grass extended all the way until where my eyes could see and the exhaustion from the long journey from Nagpur was suddenly gone. It was clear to me that I was going to be living in a place which had its roots firmly embedded in nature.
Located in the beautiful city of Kashipur, Indian Institute of Management Kashipur boasts of a beautiful campus with all of the facilities provided for a student. IIM Kashipur is first among the new IIMs to have its own campus. The following points clearly depicts why this college campus is among the best and the most unique campuses of the country
I come from an engineering background and got my Bachelors of Engineering from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I also got a decent job as a sales engineer in Bengaluru. I am from Kerala as well. So one would wonder why a South Indian like me, who has very little exposure to the North Indians go to Udaipur, to pursue one the toughest and most challenging degrees, the MBA.
The beautiful campus has some of the unique features which are not easy to find, firstly the most attractive part about the campus and infrastructure is the architecture of the whole place. One can easily fall in love with the modern-day architecture marvel. The way the contours of the Aravalli have been carved to make the campus. Secondly, commuting on these terrains keeps you fit and active which is one of the most important parts of the life.
