In a B-school, when your day starts at 7:30 in the morning, you know it will be a long one. Getting ready for that 9 a.m. class and reaching just in time is an art possessed by many. But this is not the only struggle in the morning. It extends to choosing the correct seat in the hall. The selection of the right position is extremely critical as it would decide what kind of a day you are going to have and hence often there are fights over who will seat where. The seats are thus determined by a rule of thumb created unanimously by the class: If there is a study material at a desk before you come, you cannot sit on that desk, find yourself another one.

It is located in the place that has the most amazing weather throughout the year. And this keeps us afresh all the time. Our mood totally depends on the environment we are in. And this decides our performance in various activities. The sunrise we see after every late night submissions make us forget all our tired feelings. No doubt, the cold wind, beautiful stars at night and of course, the amazing sunrise, reminds me every time about how lucky I am for getting admission into this college.

On 18th May, 2018 at 11:30 PM an email hit my mailbox that rocked me from deep inside. This email made me extremely joyful as well as sad at the same moment. Happy in the sense that I was going to join the prestigious IIM Shillong and gloomy for the cause that I will be 2333 km from Indore. I couldn’t sleep the entire night thinking about what to do, should I join the college or wait for some more results. Joining a college and leaving one’s home doesn’t seem like a very tough decision unless and until the choice is to be made by you. The feeling of converting for XAHR was a mixture of emotions.
