The usual classes at B school start with Professor entering the class and introducing us to the topic to be discussed on that day. The discussion starts in set pedagogy with inputs from Professor and students involving in-class participation. The class continues and a time comes to its end. So far so good because that's the way Professors have been conducting classes. No doubt there would be intellectual discussions because IIM Indore is a prestigious institution having experienced and talented Professor with immense knowledge. But imagine a class guaranteeing 100 per cent of student's attention no matter if a student has slept well a night before or usually is lost in his/her thoughts. We at IIM Indore are fortunate enough to attend the session of one such Professor. One can never even think of him conducting classes in a way he does if one sees him for the first time. His energy and creativity are beyond our imagination. Not even the age became a barrier for his energy and creativity. He is an aged Professor, but no one can match up to his creativity.

How Unique Is Planet-I

I have seen the way to heaven from outside world and that heaven is IIM Indore campus. IIM Indore has the biggest infrastructure among IIMs in India. I bet you, once a person visits the campus he will surely fell for the beauty. Starting from the main gate, it is designed elegantly which ensures there is something worth waiting for you inside the campus. Huge campus of around 200 acres which we prefer to call “Planet-I”. It is because one can see two sides of the world from behind the walls fencing the campus. IIM Indore is known for its diversity. But it is not limited to diversity amongst batches of students, one can spot rare species of animals and birds within the campus. If you take a morning or evening walk, you can spot these animals and birds easily. The atmosphere is so pleasant that one can relax easily forgetting all worries. We believe every animal has equal rights on planet-I, so why can’t the dogs? Institute has done separate arrangements for dogs within the campus. This move from the Institute is laudable keeping in mind love of animal lovers.
