An old IIM admission is a dream come true for most MBA aspirants. IIM Indore lives up to its tag in every perceivable way. The sense of pride and immense opportunities for learning and career building is as good as it gets. But, then there are a few more colleges who can lay claim to these facets.
It was just another class on a Tuesday morning, or so we thought. I can hear the clock ticking as I am having breakfast in a rush. I put the dishes and run towards my morning class of one of my favourite subjects, Consumer Behaviour.
They say ‘you learn more when you experience it’ – It’s exactly the philosophy IIM Indore works at. To take the experiential learning to a different arena, we were exposed to Design Thinking in our first year. Design Thinking essentially implied to look at the problem from user’s perspective and coming out with innovative and useful solutions to resolve the same. When we were given task to think of ways to double the use of the library, obviously being a stakeholder, I directly arrived at a solution - they need food in the library. I felt like 'pro' - solution in hand before starting to work and the thought "ye to baye haath ka khel nikla"
Indian Institute of Management Indore is a learning sanctuary for 500+ Post Graduate understudy, 120+ Integrated Program in Management understudies, 50+ kindred understudies and numerous other progressing program understudies. For me this organization was past my creative energy, the way of life, the inviting background and the grounds, the offices gave here are past my fantasies. Originating from Maharashtra and being given this chance to examine here was trying at to begin with, yet when we begin taking in the courses here, becoming more acquainted with the general population, the teachers, life ends up simpler.

As MBA graduates, there are many things expected from you ranging from simple decision making to identifying prospects for the business. One of the primary skills we are expected to have is delivering good convincing presentations that can sweep the stakeholders into giving into whatever you ask them for. This expectation raises an interesting question, what exactly is a presentation? Is it the speaker sharing his knowledge? Is it the powerpoint slides? The answer to this question came for me from an unexpected source:
