Lohri the traditional festival of Punjab, celebrated to mark the end of winter is associated with the harvest of Rabi crops. Anyone who has ever celebrated this festival dancing around a bonfire knows the spirit of this festival. Lohri is characterised by joy and colour. Similar to the spirit of Lohri, IFMR indulged itself to celebrate this colourful festival with utmost excitement and zeal.
A b-school is a world in itself. You have your average Joe who goes by the day with working his way through lectures and completing his assignments and you also have the lazy dude who can hardly keep track of the time. Amidst the crowd though, if you notice them swiftly passing by, running from lecture to lecture into endless meetings, you'll meet the badshahs of a b-school. They're armoured with titles of honour from competitions they've won across the country and they always look like they're about to crack their next case. In this feature, we meet 4 such students who have gone beyond the regular b-school journey and added more to it by winning across case competitions.

Well, Sangharsh is one occasion that does the same for you. A much-awaited event, it is a platform wherein the top 4 IIMs: IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Lucknow showcase their passion for sports and prove their mettle. What started with a sports competition between Ahmedabad and Bangalore soon paved the way for Calcutta and consequently Lucknow to join in and gear up for the roller-coaster of a ride.
Sadashiv Pradhan, a Business Management graduate from XLRI Jamshedpur (Batch of 2016), now a manager at STAR India Ltd. talks about his first book - 23:59:59. For anyone aware of the importance of deadlines in a B-School and especially for XLers, the dreaded mails with a 23:59:59 deadline, the title of this book conveys what the story is about - the journey of an MBA student. But is it one of those cliched MBA books? Definitely not. Read on as he shares what this book is all about, how he went on to write it and how he managed to do it as a full-time working professional.
