I had always aspired to be an IITian, but my commerce background led me to a path that I knew would never enter the IIT premises, at least officially, until I got to know about Department of Management Studies (DMS)!
"When you venture outside and step out of your comfort zone, that is the time when you really discover yourself and realize your true potential." I am out on an expedition and NITIE is another beautiful part of this journey. Travelling has transformed the way I conduct myself and every journey further shapes me into a better human being. This is possible because of the various dimensions associated with travelling. As a tourist, one often tends to overlook these dimensions, but a traveller tries to explore as many dimensions as he can.

It was 7:00 in the morning as I sprung up from my bed, silencing the 5th among a dozen alarms I had set for that morning. After a night of disturbed sleep and mulling over the day that was to come, I decided to finally get off the bed and suit up. The day of the interview had finally come. Burning hours of midnight oil in remembering the names of presidents, cabinet portfolios and CEOs would soon be put to test. As I reached the venue and my name was called out, my heart was racing, anxious to ace the interview and secure a seat at one of the top B-Schools of the country.
Since time immemorial humans have been singing to express their feelings, gratitude, and love towards fellow beings and nature. Singing helps in inducing a sense of harmony and bliss in this fast-paced life, where quality time and leisure have become distant dreams.
It all started for me on the sweltering afternoon of 1st June. The heat was unbearable, humidity out of the world. It was a combination of sweat, heat, and too much of Sun 😊. Still, I was there, standing like a knight in shining armour, staring blankly at the place which was going to be my home, school, college, university and everything for the coming two years.
