CAT is a mixture of aptitude test and time management skills. If you mess up on either of these, things can go south pretty quickly.
Take it from me - if you are not good at VARC, you will have to put in a lot of effort to get through it. Effort?? Umm might both be the right and the wrong word here. I'd say working on VARC needs discipline and persistence.
28th July 2016 was the day I joined NIT Warangal, my alma mater. It was also the day I had decided that I would do an MBA. Despite joining a premier engineering school, I always believed it wasn't out of passion but only because of efforts that I had to put in as there was no other option. But it turned out to be an amazing experience; experiences that ultimately introduced things that would help shape my MBA dream.
Indian Institute of Management Indore is all set to conduct the CAT 2020 exam. Last year, IIM Kozhikode conducted the CAT exam and almost 2.50 lakh candidates appeared for the paper.
Lakshya Kumar scored 99.99%ile in CAT 2019, the highest amongst non engineers to have written the exam in 2019. Also he started his CAT prep in Feb 2019, just 7 months prior to CAT. Lakshya's focus and clarity on writing the CAT and making it to IIM C is something every CAT aspirant will gain from. However, I feel that it is one of the most important parts of one's preparation. This article revolves around the importance of mental health in CAT preparation. Although, I am no psychologist or an expert and this is purely based on my personal experience.
