Microeconomics With Mrs. Manasi Phadke - A Memorable Experience
Keep Calm (!!) and Study Economics!!
Keep Calm (!!) and Study Economics!!
I predominantly hail from Delhi, where my schooling and graduation happened. Being brought up in a bursting metropolitan city, I have always experienced life in concrete jungles. A fast-paced life where air-conditioners are ubiquitous, vehicular pollution is a daily ingredient of our breath, and unfortunately, nature is amiss.
Symbiosis International University hails a beautiful college campus in Lavale, Pune. Situated on top of a hill, the campus is surrounded by beautiful sceneries along its radius. It is quite refreshing to see perfectly trimmed grasslands, green lanes, and faded hills while walking towards the Institute in the early morning. Sometimes clouds hover on the campus ground during the rain giving a perfect feel of a hill station.
When you think about an MBA college, the image that comes to your mind is a corporate looking campus located in the business area of a metropolis. This is exactly what I thought of before joining SIBM-Pune. But when I came to the campus for the first time, what I saw surprised me (thankfully).
While scores of campuses across the country offer world class infrastructure and facilities – well-stocked libraries, sports complexes, multimedia classrooms – the campus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management provides an experience like no other. Well, how often can students claim to count misty clouds as company during classes?
Even though the session has only been a month old and the MBA journey has just kicked off, there have already been some classroom moments which have left me mesmerised and have been truly inspiring.
“Of course it’s happening inside your head Harry, but that does not mean it is not real!”
Some memories are unforgettable, remaining ever vivid and heartwarming.
