Aditya Birla group also took over the rein with the group’s total annual turnover of about $2 billion in 1995, with only a fraction of contribution from overseas. Now the company values about $40 billion and operates in more than 40 countries with more than half of the profit from abroad. All this was possible because the challenges that they faced in their tenure only motivated them to move forward and never pulled them back.

But the one factor which I associate the most with the group is its philanthropic activities; let it be a contribution in polio eradication, women empowerment, helping school children, academic scholarships, or any one of the innumerable things. It is the feeling that aligns with the work of the group which in turn makes them a part of everyone’s life.
