Metamorphosis in Fashion by Aditya Birla Group SCMHRD

Being a girl, i have always loved clothes & fashion. So forever 21 & Pantaloons have been such an important part of my life. The plethora of brands i could witness in Pantaloons is amazing.Especially during sale season, i run around like a kid who is left in a candy store as i get extremely greedy to buy the best of the best. Further, Pantaloons holds a special place in my heart because of its brand colour which is Turquoise Blue. I couldn’t experience the awesomeness of wearing formals till i have joined SCMHRD, as i have always preferred wearing Indian wear, western wear & smart business casuals. The brand Allen Solly is my perfect destination to shop for formals, i could get the perfect fit, amazing texture of the clothes, wide variety of colour choices & what more to say i can keep bragging about it. Lastly, i have received so many compliments at my college when i wore formals, it boosted my confidence & added more credibility to the brand Allen Solly. Thank you ABG.

Aditya birla group, the age-old Conglomerate is in every aspect of our lives. BE it insurance, constructions, telecommunications or financial services. I on the personal level was bound to use ultratech cement while commenced the construction of my house. It was the best in the market, had no doubt to go forward with it. Also since the time I started using a mobile phone, Vodafone has been my choice of the sim and still is. While my family members used Idea. Now when they have partnered I could say Aditya Birla group has definitely become a huge part of my life.

As a child, my first thought about Aditya Birla Group had always been their strong presence in the cement industry – Ultratech Cement. As I grew up, I got to know many products I have been using in my daily life belong to Aditya Birla Group.

How does one quantify the presence of a company as enormous as Aditya Birla in his/her life? Would mere reference to the ownership of goods be enough or is there something bigger, a visceral connect that stems for the innate feeling of being part of a bigger force, a force of 134 crore individuals. They ruled us for 200 years and now we own their brands. The pride which we take in recognizing Aditya Birla as an India company is immense. From national to international levels the organization has been a torch bearer for India’s progress. My life as an Engineer’s choice to Power dressing has been impacted by Aditya Birla group in various touch points. From a customer of the products to working as a supplier to the company. Ultratech cement acts as a kernel to the infrastructure development of this country, the home which gives a sense of security, is built using cement from the company. Hindalco with aluminum and Grasim with viscous chemicals, the heavy industries which are the pillars of any economy, and “what an Idea” SirJi connecting millions across the land. I remember when the mall concept came to my city and I also remember referring a visit to the mall as a visit to pantaloons. I can count various such anecdotes were brands from Aditya Birla have acted as category identifiers for me, the story doesn’t end there. The contributions the company has made in developing the human capital of the country would reap dividends unimaginable.

At times I wonder if there is any industry/sector left for THE Aditya Birla Group to explore. It starts from Banking,Carbon,Cement and goes up to fashion, financial services, textiles and chemicals. A $44.3bn corporation, this group has created an unbeatable niche for itself by stepping into 14 different industry sectors and achieving leadership in the same. I would like to mention the satisfaction that these products offer and the happiness associated with them.

Overcoming challenges: An Achievement in Itself- SCMHRD

Overcoming a challenge is itself an achievement and; this achievement helps you achieve your goal. I am a 25 year old who has a work-ex of 24 months in a renewable energy generation company.  Having working parents since childhood was already a challenge in itself. I started to manage things on my own, taking onwnership of tasks, being responsible for certain things etc. According to me, challenges are the milestones that help you analyse how stronger you have become, how far have you come overcoming everything. These challenges are important so as to value our own hardwork and the result that we have achieved. As it is rightly said, “The only way out is THROUGH.” This is a principle I abide by. Hardwork and determination are the key to be “through” that challenge. These are the qualities I was inculcated within since childhood. My parents have played a big role in motivating me on times when I was feeling low. They helped me get back on my feet back when I thought of giving up. Everybody has their own answer for this “How”, mine is this.
