Big In My Bank Life - SCMHRD

Big In My Bank Life - SCMHRD

One of my ambitions was to handle a bank branch so effectively that I could achieve maximum customer satisfaction and exponential growth with zero credit risk. I got an opportunity to work as a Branch Manager for Canara Bank in 2017. My branch was a purely new one, since it was set up in a new area of Jamnagar city. Another challenge that I faced was to market the brand of my bank in this place which was already dominated by large peer banks such as ICICI Bank, SBI and Bank Of Baroda. I knew what I had to do and I also knew that the idea was not easy to execute, given the uncertainty of the market conditions and the existing competition.

Facing the Odds: My journey to SCMHRD

Facing the Odds: My journey to SCMHRD

I was a shy, introverted kid in my early school days. The dream of becoming an outgoing, spirited person pushed me to try a variety of activities. Over the years, I developed an interest in stage theatre, which helped me learn a lot about human behavior. Initially, I had self-doubts that whether I can become an efficient leader. But, I worked hard on my skills and became the Head Boy of my school in Class 12th. That year I juggled between extra-curriculars and got 96.4% in boards.

It has provided the people of India with something of a comfort in its products. If we talk about Idea cellular which is one of its products, the brand has helped people to connect far and wide. Although , the Airtel went strong, the Idea hasn’t lost its business in the country and still provides network which is better than others and is spread in almost all parts of the country. Talking about my experience, brands like Van Heusen and Allen Solly are some brands I have always depended on. Coming from Himachal, I would still find its stores spread in the whole state with easy accessibility. Pantaloons on the other hand even helped me when I was working in an IT company, and the usual team gifts to anyone who had a birthday would be a pantaloon gift card, which make it joyous present for the team mate. Thus, Aditya Birla Group is a company that is anywhere and every where and has proven its worth through its products.

My Story- Change of Educational Institution

My Story- Change of Educational Institution

How easy is it to change 9 educational institutes in a span of 20 years? Some people think too easy but when you actually think of it, you start going to school when you are at least 4 years of age. And I can say that I am not afraid of change any more. When I was young I used to cry and crib every time my father got transferred( being in a government job) but there came a time when i was fed up of it. I used to revolt. I still remember I was in class 9th and I fainted in the school because it was becoming too much for me. I could not see and accept the change since my new school was completely different from the one I was in before. I used to cry and sit back in the medical room so that I could avoid the students there and after 1 years my dad got transferred from there as well. My fear still remained there. It was after I got into a boarding school that I realized that change is just a part of life. If i am not able to accept it, I should stop right now. No one is going to come and give m things on a silver platter, for that I’ll have to work, to interact and most importantly to accept the change that helps you to further grow. Meeting new people is always a part of life. You can never just hold on to people you meet once. You’ll have to move on.
