Few Words Of Gratitude For Versatile ABG!!!

Just name the Industry and Aditya Birla Group (ABG) exists there. Whether it be asset management, branded apparels, finance, healthcare, IT Services, infrastructure, insurance, telecom or be it any field, this Indian brand has achieved milestones. Spanning in 34 countries, it has set up a benchmark worldwide. As many others, even I am a big fan of this Group and owe a much deserved gratitude to it. Let’s take a look at few of its brands out of which many have touched my life closely and their tagline says it all:

Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate. It operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. The group founded in 1857, has the legacy of 162 years. It is the third-largest Indian private sector conglomerate having interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, health care services, telecom, BPO and IT services.

And, that's what Life is all about!

I was at Universal Studios, Singapore with my family. I was standing in front of the scariest ride of the island, Battlestar Galactica. It had a maximum speed of 90 kmph and stood at a massive height of 43 meters making it the tallest dueling coaster in the world. The broucher had a “warning” sign printed beside the description saying “not for the weak hearted.” I was alarmed and panic stricken because my fear of heights was triggered. But, I thought to myself, what if I never come back here ever? What if I am not lucky enough to get a second chance to experience this thrill? And, what if I do not have the people around me to give me the push that my dad was giving me? These questions in my head inevitably started making my legs move. I started walking towards the entry point to make the best of where I am and what I have. And, that's what, I believe, life is all about!

Many of us must have come across our parents say- “Padh lo, tum Kisi Tata ya Birla ki family se nahi ho”. (Go and study, you are not from the Tata’s or Birla’s family).Yes, that’s how I got to know that there’s something called as Birla and that they have really made a great deal. Its values are Integrity, Passion, Commitment, Seamlessness, and Speed. The company has done justice to all the values. It has shown its seamlessness by connecting with people’s emotions.

How ABG products contributed to the events in my life? -SCMHRD

Aditya Birla Group being an Indian Multinational conglomerate and operating in 35 countries across the globe along with a vast variety of products have contributed enormously in my life. The group is courageous enough to get into the niche market and astonish the crowd with its mind-boggling approach to serve the world.

There is a famous quote stating “God is everywhere”. This quote is applicable to Aditya Birla group (ABG). The company was founded in 1857 by Seth Shiv Narayanan Birla, and today it stands as a Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai which operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. In the developed modern world, where every little need is being satisfied, if observed closely is satisfied by ABG.

Challenges : a stepping stones towards growth!

Though  I  believe  there  are  bigger  challenges  waiting  for  me  in  my  near  future,  there  had  been some  incidents  in  my  life  which  tasted  my  limits  and  taught  me  number  of  things.  One  incident that  I  would  like  to  mention  is  when  I  enrolled  in  SIMSREE  and  had  an  opportunity  to  work  as  a part  of  social  responsibility  cell.  It  was  the  time  when  I  had  to  learn  starting  from  the  basics  of finance  &  accounting  which  was  in  a  way  a  parallel  course  I  had  to  undertake  and simultaneously  I  was  shouldering  the  responsibility  to  lead  our  social  responsibility  cell  where we  were  determined  to  work  for  community  which  will  make  an  actual  impact  in  the  society.  All of  it  in  a  timespan  of  around  4  to  5  months  without  hampering  my  academic  growth.  It  was  the time  that  taught  me  how  to  manage  my  time  effectively  to  get  the  best  of  me  in  every  aspects whereas  I  also  learnt  that  I  must  give  some  time  to  pursue  my  hobbies  which  include photography,  reading  &  learning  flute  as  these  were  my  short  gateways  to  relax  my  mind  and maintain  my  focus  &  rigor  in  giving  my  best  to  the  responsibilities  I  committed  to.  These learning’s  also  helped  me  complete  almost  7-8  projects  in  different  domains  of  management during  my  short  tenure  of  2  months  without  compromising  on  the  outcomes  of  any  project.
