Picture a kid; a young lad called Rohan who is about 5 years old. Rohan has a good life, with all his basic necessities being taken care of along with certain luxuries as well, all taken care of by his loving parents. He has a nice home, some fantastic clothes, quite a few toys and his favourite meals being cooked for him on a regular basis. Rohan has a soft corner for cars and is very much invested in his father’s car, with regular trips being a compulsion. The Bandra Worli Sea link always gets Rohan fascinated and makes him wonder how such a marvel could be constructed. Rohan has a lot of friends and they all are living in a bubble. For Rohan and his friends, that’s how life is. They are cocooned in their protective nests that have been set up by their parents, who work incredibly hard behind the scenes just so the kids can have a comfortable life. Rohan and his friends do not know about the hard work that goes into making everything that they perceive it as.

Aditya Birla Group is big in everyone's life
Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered at Worli, Mumbai. There are various companies operating under ABG group and has truly touched millions in the world. When I had my first mobile the sim card I bought was of Idea. I did not know at that point in time that Idea cellular network comes under Aditya Birla Group. But now when I thought of the products of ABG that I have used, my first sim of idea is the first thing that came into my mind. I would like to mention that whenever we think of a cement brand, ultra tech cement is the name anyone would take and I think that type of recognition this brand holds in the market. Grasim industries is the world’s 4th largest producer of insulator and being an electrical engineer I know the importance of the insulator and to what extent we are linked with the ABG.

Aditya Birla Group, the name that strikes a chord in every Indian’s heart. A brand that perfectly resonates its name, “Aditya” (Sun) and the core values it is built upon. The very logo itself with the Sun and its beams depict the values that the company incorporates and how it has impacted millions of lives throughout the world. It is commendable how the company has become a part and parcel of our everyday lives, starting from the cement that we use to build our houses to the tires that drive us to places, from the telecom services that connect us to our families to the wraps that have helped mom’s all over to deliver the best food to their kids, from ensuring lives to helping manage finances, from the smallest of things like the Ink and paints to the rubber goods, belts, and hoses, ABG has transformed lives and how!

The morning of 17th November 2018 found us in a worrisome scene , none of our kids had a uniform to wear and whatever they had wasn’t good enough to be worn in their interview ,we stood in a dilemma , either we send them compromised and saddened of their economic condition or figure a way out , even if we wanted they wouldn’t be able to wear our shirts as it will be ill fit , they wouldn’t be able to buy , either way , we tried pitching in though it wasn’t enough , we thought of giving up .

Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. It operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. The Aditya Birla Group is all around us. These statistics prove that how big this group plays a part in my life. As I travel on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, I can see that 0.1 million mt of UltraTech Cement was used in the construction. From this, I get that “Big is Massive”. As I drive my car, I can see that the tyres are made of Birla Carbon nanoparticles that make them safe. From this, I get that “Big is also Microscopic”. I can also see the Insulators that are produced by Grasim Industries. From this, I get that “Big is Indispensable”. Also, as I travel through the railway, I can see that a large share of copper requirement of Indian Railways is fulfilled by Birla Copper. This means that “Big is the lifeline”. When I wear my clothes of Pantaloons, Allen Solly, etc., I get that “Big is all about great style”. When I use my phone, I know that the cover glass for smartphones is made of Hindalco Aluminium. Then I realize that “Big is in my Palm”. When I call someone, “Big makes distances disappear”.
