The group has its business in sectors like- Aluminium and other non-ferrous metals (Hindalco and Novelis), Cement (Ultra Tech Cement and Grasim Industries), Telecom Services (Idea Cellular), Financial Services (Aditya Birla Capital), Retail (Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail) and whatnot. All its subsidiaries are one of the best in their respective sector. Coming from a small town- Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, the impact of Aditya Birla Group has been tremendously big in my life.

I was 17 when I had to face the daunting task of moving away from home for my higher studies. Having spent my entire childhood in a small-town bustling with conversations over chai and streets filled with joyous sounds of kids playing galli cricket, it was overwhelming stepping into the city that never sleeps. For the first few weeks, I felt like I didn’t belong in the sea of people who were constantly in a hurry to get some place, never stopping to connect with those around them. After my initial inhibitions, I realized that this city could be my new home away from home if I gave it a chance. I started coming out of my shell and I eventually found people who have now become my family.
