Great businesses are never built on the quick sands of opportunism.
Being intelligent and hardworking does not always guarantee success. I learnt this lesson the hard way. This is Story of a girl which depicts various phases of her life and the challenges she faced: -
Aditya Birla Group has been by my side all my life. It has played a huge role in my life. The first sim that I bought was an Idea sim . I fondly remember how jealous people especially my friends were of me when I was enjoying good connectivity and fast internet speed even when I was travelling to different parts of the country. My parents did not have to worry about how they would contact me when I travelled because they knew Idea will not fail them.
The commitment to put in the full effort to successfully complete the responsibility taken up is which is needed in every individual. This not only helps in the professional career but also will facilitate a good personal life. The passion to drive a positive change combined with the commitment to thrive hard will help everyone to cross the hurdles they face in their life. Those challenges which makes you think something’s are not achievable or possible can be defeated just by the confidence you have in the decisions you take. One such instance was my ambition to publish a technical paper in an international journal. Halfway through the project, the technical concept seemed impossible to be achieved when bookish theories seemed unreliable and imaginative. But, the only hope which pushed me complete the project successfully was the belief in my decision to take up a project which was a first time try among the engineering students. The commitment and passion my fellow team mates showed helped me regain the confidence which helped successfully completing my ambition of a technical paper. There were bigger challenges coming my way as I tried approaching my ambition step by step.
While I was working with my father, every month he would pay me Rs.5,000 as a salary but with a condition to invest it somewhere. When I asked him why I need to start investing at a such young age he replied “You will always feel it’s not required until you reach your retirement with minimal savings.”, This is a common investor problem, either people invest too less or too late.
