Life becomes more challenging each time we climb the stairs of success. Higher the ambgitions are, bigger the challenges we come across. One of such challenge which I felt in my life, since my childhood, is stage fear.
“Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies”. Just another quote from another person would be the first thought occurring to the reader, but each of these mean ocean’s to people. Hope is what sailed me through my difficult time. A lucky kid was born on the day of Diwali. I was a mischievous, trouble making and a very talkative kid. I loved school and was among the top five in class. I still remember receiving the chocolate hamper from my principal. When life is all rainbows , is when the dark clouds and thunder hit you out of nowhere. I was abused by a family friend whom I knew when I was in fifth standard. Life was a downhill after this, I could not comprehend what had happened to me , I was in a notion that this was normal and was what happened to all the kids. I suffered from PTSD, Anxiety attacks , sleepless nights of crying or nightmare filled dreams for the next few years of my life until my 12th standard. My grades dropped, I stopped being social, I was nervous all the time, I reserved myself into a cocoon which nobody could step into. I did not muster the courage to tell my parents. Life was miserable I wanted it to end, I did not approach a counsellor. I prayed every day to put a end to me or this situation. Amidst this, my 12th board exams were two months away when I scored a 2/100 in my math final state cluster exams. It hit me that this was not me, I needed to be there for myself, I needed to be better for myself, I was the only person who could bring in a new “me”. I started writing motivational speech for myself, I wrote articles to calm me down. I studied really hard. Fast forward and I had scored 91/100 in mathematics with an overall of 92 percent in my CBSE boards. I was so proud of myself. I had finally started to come out of shell slowly and writing got me out of it. And fast forward to the present where a shy , introvert is smiling , so proud of herself to share this article with so many people around. I consider myself lucky because that situation has taught me who I am , what I am capable of and I am so thankful for that. This is what made me “ME”.
Aditya Birla has played a really massive part in my life especially more so being born and bought up in Mumbai. My father used to work in Binani Cements for quite some time and so Aditya Birla Group has paid a huge part in my directly and indirectly. Me and my family are grateful for it.The Bandra-Worli sea link which has changed the lives of commuters for good which is a true pride for Mumbai and India as a whole has been built by Ultra tech cement which is a part of Aditya Birla Group. But the truly biggest contribution of the Aditya Birla Group in my life has been through Vodafone. I have been a loyal Vodafone customer since the past 10 years. And one of the things I am really proud of is that my Vodafone network is the best in the country. I have been stuck in countless elevators countless jungles during trips and countless other places where there is not a human in sight. But the one thing I was and still am sure of is that the Vodafone mobile network will always help me out and that it is the best in the country and has never ditched me in my time of need and never will. Even with the launch of other Telecom service providers who are providing extremely cheap services I have still stuck to Vodafone and I intend to keep doing it. I see people around me complaining all the time about their service providers or their mobile networks and I immediately jump in and recommend them Vodafone
My life is as normal as any other upper middle class kid which makes me think that I would really have to dig up the tiniest of events that came out as an obstacle for me. But, challenges don’t discriminate income groups everyone has their depth of challenges.
ABG has impacted me in many ways in my life. I can’t imagine a life without ABG. Since my childhood I am a regular customer of more supermarket which is very close to my apartment in Trivandrum. I used to visit more twice or thrice a week because I was impressed by the offers which is being provided by more.
In my life of 23 years, I have faced a few challenges to achieve my ambitions. Without a challenge life is boring. When I was in 11th standard I joined in the residential campus to crack IIT-JEE. That was my first time to stay away from home. I felt sick due to jaundice and typhoid. I took rest for two months at home due to the severity of my condition. Soon after when I came to the college, I realized that the syllabus of the first year is completed and they started second year syllabus. Due to the lack of basics of the first-year syllabus I was unable to understand the second year syllabus. At that time I lost the confidence in me. But the lecturers backed me and they taught me how to prepare my self for the course. From then I started self-learning. I cracked a seat in amrita college of engineering and joined there for my graduation.
