We can’t imagine our life in India without Aditya Birla Group’s products. It ranges from world-class fashion companies, like Van Heusen, Louise Philippe, Allen Solly, etc.,  to financial products to Its retail outlets Pantaloons and More. Not to forget it’s cement company Ultratech to its metal company Hindalco and what not, everything. We as Indians should feel proud of having a multinational conglomerate company has started in India. It is one of the first Indian company which expanded outside the country.

How ABG is big in my life- Aaisha Ansari - TAPMI

Be it shopping for clothes to be worn to office from Pantaloons or taking sandwiches for coaching classes packed in Freshwrapp, ABG has been phenomenal in each teenager’s experience. Wearing Indian formals for work or shopping for certain chosen accessories, the choice has always been Pantaloons. It has had a huge impact in grooming each individual who has been a regular buyer. Not only this, even brands like Allen Solly, Van Huesen, have been responsible for changing the way India looks at western formal dressing. Today, no matter what kind of outfit you need, it is all available. Had such brands not existed in India, people would have had a very different outlook towards grooming and change. Thanks to Aditya Birla Group, we have the advantage of location and accessibility. Another way in which ABG has been prominent in my life is via their telecom services. I do not remember a time when I have not used the Vodafone mobile network. It has made connectivity so much easier and brought close ones even closer. It is not the brands that play a huge role in our day-to-day lives but it is the experience we derive from using those products daily. ABG and its brands, is all about the experience. We might not remember what exactly made us happy, or what we bought from a particular brand, but we will definitely remember where we bought it from and how satisfied we were. Thus, ABG has been changing lives for the better since a long time now, and I am sure it will continue to do so.

Hailing from a middle-class family- a personal car was a luxury for us until my father decided to buy one with his hard-earned savings 2 years prior to his retirement. It was just days past my 18th birthday and obviously I was thrilled to bits upon seeing our brand-new Wine Red colored Alto standing right in front of my eyes. The only thought which crossed my mind at that moment was – I badly need a license to drive this!!

Change has been the only constant in my life. From childhood, I have been exposed to multiple cultures. I was born in a small town in Kerala called Kollam. When I was a toddler, my family and I moved to Chennai where I completed my kindergarten. Amidst this, my father got a job transfer to Denmark, which left my mother and I alone in a new city. Fortunately, soon enough, the two of us were allowed to join him in Denmark. For a child of age four, the culture shock was drastic. I was given admission to a Danish Montessori since the fee at all the English-medium schools there amounted to much more than my father could afford. However, with the help of some lovely teachers and caretakers, I quickly adapted, made European friends and even picked up Danish without having to go for language classes.
