Challenges are a Part of Life. Face them and Win Over Them
The Biggest challenge that I have faced is while preparing for the CAT to get into one of the most prestigious B-Schools of India. The challenge started in 2017 when at the beginning of my Final year I decided to try and crack CAT and thus started my preparation with just around 5 months remaining in hand at the End of July. I knew and heard a lot from people that it would become very tedious with the studies of Engineering and that too Final Year. Plus, Due to my college location, I had a total of 3 hrs traveling from my home to college and back each day. It was actually becoming difficult to manage everything, from engineering studies to practicing for CAT to attending classes in the weekend. The Timetable was hectic. But I was determined to do whatever I could to crack CAT. Somehow I started giving mocks, did everything in my position that I could. Finally, the day came, I went into the exam room and was patiently waiting for the CAT 2017 paper. And finally it started and it was a complete Bomb. Verbal went good but the LRDI section was completely gone. So was the Quants section. The lack of time and with it the lack of preparation was showing. The result came and I knew I had faltered completely.
