A bag of dreams and a face of aspiration

As a young kid who wished to look dapper every time I go out, fashion and retail was everything to me. I can distinctly remember my first visit to an ‘Allen Solly’ store. That could have been the weirdest version of me till date I would say, at any place. I guess my eyes popped out drooling over the ‘bestest’ of collections and I can proudly say that ‘Allen Solly’ was my first ever branded shirt. It was just the beginning. The day before joining college, I was in a Pantaloon store getting my wardrobe ready and you can imagine how much of it has been a part and parcel of my life.
DREAMS CAN BE TRUE...
Aditya Birla group is one of the largest Indian multinational organisation operating in 35 countries having its name almost in every field from cement to branded apparel, carbon black to fertilisers, chemicals to insulators, fertilisers to metals, financial services to telecom and IT services and it has exceled in almost every field. It would be wrong to say that in my entire life I was in no way associated to Aditya Birla Group because in some way or the other along the way I have used the products associated by the company because the company itself is conglomerate.
Numbers play a major role. Credit Suisse in 2017 reported that there were 108 publically listed companies that were family owned businesses, which is the third largest number in the World. These companies share 90% of the Gross Industrial Output, generate 79% of the organised private sector employment, provide 27% of the overall employment and account for almost two thirds of India’s GDP. Aditya Birla Group, being one, has been a major contribution towards these numbers. Evidently so, it could not have been possible without touching every soul in some way or another. In that manner, Aditya Birla Group is the vox populi, which literally translates to the voice of the people.
