ABG- an integrated family

Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest private companies in India with operations in more than 35 countries, employing more than 120,000 people worldwide. ABG was started in 1857 and has influenced our lives in one way or the other. Since childhood, ABG has influenced our lives in several ways. Be it clothing, housing , finance or telecommunication; ABG has been a market leader in all fields. As for me, I did not realise how intertwined my life was with ABG until lately when we were told to participate in the ABG Woo Me Competition. I still remember my tenth birthday when my mother gifted me my first cell phone with an Idea sim card. Idea had been my trusted companion for almost five years. The catchy ‘hunny bunny’ tune is a highlight of my childhood that I will never forget.Pantaloons is another ABG subsidiary which is close to my heart. With amazing clothing and accessory collections, Pantaloons has never failed to impress me with its range of excellent products which has converted me into a loyal customer. Freshwrapp is one of the most trusted brand by mothers to pack food for their children and family. With value for money, hygiene and freshness guaranteed,  Freshwrapp comes with a ‘Mommy Guarantee.‘ Living in Singapore for the last 5 years, I realised that ABG has a major foothold in Singapore under the name of Swiss Singapore  Overseas Enterprises Pte Ltd where it exports oil, petrol , minerals and other essential products from. In conclusion, ABG  has impacted several phases of our lives so much that it has become an ingenious part of our lives. #abg #abgwoome #abgwoomeseason2 @sibm_bengaluru

Coming from the house of farmers I believe Aditya Birla Group plays a crucial role in our lives. The fertilizers made by Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperation Limited (IFFCO), which is a brand of Aditya Birla Group,  be it Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) or Urea has helped us increase the productivity of crops, maintain nitrogen level in the soil of the farm as well as cattle feed supplement.

Pantaloons, big in my life! TISS, Mumbai

If I take myself back in time to when I had first seen a magnificent shopping mall, I’d see the first Pantaloons mall in Guwahati, Assam. I was only an enthusiastic teenager then, spiky hair, oversized clothes on a lean body, hanging by the doors of local buses, letting the air flow through my shiny silky hair.
