We conclude our Recruitment Survey Results with the announcement of this year's list of Dream Companies. These companies have been declared by Aspirants, Business School Students and Alumni as their Dream companies across all sectors, functions and locations. We asked all three categories of respondents to name their top 5 Dream companies. They were asked to type the names of companies and no list was provided to choose from.
The highest number of questions asked to us about future careers by aspirants on InsideIIM are about Consulting. A sector with relatively few firms has a glamour attached to it. A large majority of rankers at top business schools in India end up joining Consulting firms.
This sector represents the future of work. Some of the most cutting edge work in the world is done by these companies. They are also increasingly becoming the most sought after companies replacing Banks, FMCG and Consulting firms in the dream company list.
Since the inception of the InsideIIM Recruitment Survey, only two brands have dominated the Sales & Marketing lists - Unilever and P&G - with Unilever coming out on top more often. Will the story be any different this year? How many Indian companies will feature in the top 10?
