A boy totally perplexed about what to do in his life thought that doing MBA was the right thing for him and decided to prepare for CAT along with his job. No matter how much effort he was putting, his mock scores were not improving. He couldn’t understand what he is doing wrong. But he was resilient, didn’t give up on his preparation. Industry Interface is an interactive and collaborative arrangement between academic institutions and business corporations for the achievement of certain mutually inclusive goals and objectives. Institutes remain in continuous touch with industry for overall development of their students. Industry needs "ideas". It has a business need, resources and context but lacks time. An academic institute needs resources and has willingness, drive, time and expertise to provide ideas. Thus, an Industry-Institute interface provides the necessary real-world exposure for upgradation of student skills and guidance for governance. These engagements are mutually beneficial to the institution, students, industries and society. Students who undertake different activities such as industrial visit, summer training, experiential learning & industrial projects are automatically well prepared for the world out there.
