When you read a placement report of a reputed management institute, often, the report will list out the number of students opting out of the placements process. This is an odd occurrence given that placements are the primary reason why so many individuals want to do an MBA in the first place. So the question arises: why are these students opting out of the placements process? Are they opting out or are they being forced to opt out for reasons unmentioned in the placement report? In this video, an IIM Kozhikode alumnus explains five reasons why MBA students opt out of placements at b-school.
We have brought you the journey of an aspirant Keshav Kumar Singh in the last three episodes, where he shared his experience dealing with different phases of his preparation. From ‘Sab Ho Jaega’ to ‘Kuch Bhi Sahi Nahi Hai Yaar’, Keshav lived through something that majority of the aspirants go through every year. Because, not everybody gets through CAT and gets into their dream B-schools! Keshav also did not. In this episode, Keshav talks about the phase where he was dealing with agitation and how he faced himself after the results came out.
