A Bit Of ABG And A Bit Of Me - Renuka Singh, MDI Gurgaon
Roti, kapda, makaan aur Wifi(food, clothing, shelter and Wifi) – the basic needs of modern mankind. And someone has really taken it upon themselves to single handedly cater to all these needs. Yes, it is Aditya Birla Group. Through brands such as the previously owned More(roti), Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Forever21(kapda), Ultratech Cement, Hindalco(makaan) and Idea(WiFi), ABG has touched every household in some way. But the one trailblazing brand for me under the ABG umbrella is Liva. Liva goes beyond the conventional apparel vision of making a consumer look good and really just focuses on making a consumer feel good. After all, isn’t it all about being comfortable in your own skin? Moreover, ABG connected the people of this country and India as a nation transformed into a large community with the arrival of Idea. While other networks boasted about their network and the ease of entertainment content streaming it provided, Idea essentially focused on the educational aspect of internet usage. The Idea Internet Network (IIN) campaign highlighted the fact people didn’t need to restrict themselves to a specific stream of education and could instead follow their passion by taking up online lessons facilitated by Idea as an internet service provider. What an idea, sirji!

An Ordinary Journey Made Special By ABG - Lokesh Raizada, MDI Gurgaon
A person goes through multiple phases throughout his life be it school, college, job, marriage and what not. No matter whether he plans to do it or not, it will somehow come to him and one may or may not have any control over it as it’s the nature’s way of saying that you are growing up. Such sort of change can be overwhelming, it might make you feel a bit worried, a bit challenged and in some instances even helpless. But there is one thing that we can be certain off that this time will surely pass by and more often than not you will come out of it with flying colors.
When Will You Return? - Rishika Goel, MDI Gurgaon
The one question thrown at me everytime I am on a call with my mother and my reply had been constant throughout these days “As soon as I get some time.” I am an ambitious, industrious 21 year old young girl who craves to venture into each and every possible escapade life could unleash me to. Stating my conventional yet distinct journey on a fast forward mode, I completed my schooling with exemplary performance, pursued my graduation from a renowned college of this nation, appeared for CAT and got into one of the top B-Schools of this country anyone could have asked for. Life could not have been better but what I was erroneous upon was the fact that everything of this comes at a cost. The cost is your roots, your parents, your siblings, your innocuousness, your life that is left behind in this rat race to come first.

A Small Town Girl Chasing Big Dreams – Aakanksha Sharma, MDI Gurgaon
I come from a very small town in Uttar Pradesh where there was only one English medium school. I have been lucky to have parents who value education and have always sent me to the best school available. I always felt out of place in that town and knew deep down that I wanted to do something big and meaningful. I was 7 years old when I first heard of Kalpana Chawla and was instantly inspired by her wonderful journey of reaching NASA from Karnal. I started reading every piece of news related to Ms. Chawla. This inspired me to dream big and I started to set big goals for myself. I would study for hours, trying to learn more than what was taught at school. I came across this beautiful quote said by Ms. Chawla – “If you want to do something, what does it matter where you are ranked?” and that helped me focus on what was really important in life.
