The Impact Of ABG On My Life - Ankita Dharamadhikari, SIBM Pune

A)Aditya Birla group has made a huge impact in my life. Right from there cements to textiles, vodafone, idea, textiles etc. ABG delivers quality products and thus a huge market segment uses their products.Ipersonally use Vodafone network and the data that they provide at low rates has helped me stay connected to my parents everyday . Being away from home doesn’t feel so as the speed of the data is so great that i can easily video call my parents. Also the ABG Pantaloons shop gave me a good insight about the brands and how different brands can be showcased at a single place .Being a kid i never knew about the concept of brand but then when Pantaloons first came to my city Nagpur, i got an idea about brands and it changed my life completely. Now i buy only from Pantaloons as the quality of clothes is very good and they are very comfortable at a cheap rate . Thus ABG is important to me and all the others as it provides other services like fie insurance and data base systems . It is of hug imprtance in everyone’s lives and kind of impacted my life partly .

ABG - Inspiring Us To Dream Big - Piyush Samal, MDI Gurgaon

Growing up every kid has their ambitions to make a dent in the world and making a dent comes with its set of challenges. While most inspiring stories are about fighting the world to overcome these challenges, some battles are internal. Growing up we are all told that we’re talented or intelligent or gifted to be successful. Like many, I too believed that talent is enough to take me anywhere I want.

Striving For 'Big' - Vasu Tada, SIBM Pune

Aditya Birla group is one of the largest conglomerates of India always striving towards thebetterment of the customer experience which is it’s top target. As a leader in the industry, AdityaBirla group has made a big impact on the lives of many and is striving to stretch it’s work in thatdirection. Being a chemical engineer and knowing the industry during my years of under graduation,I felt that the chemical industry was one of the major stakeholders in the pollution of nature and thisis where Aditya Birla Group stood out from the other industries out there. One of the best projectsof the Aditya Birla group is the Hindalco Novelis which recycled more than 65 billion used beveragecans each year, turning them back into new beverage cans in roughly 60 days. Recycling produces95% fewer greenhouse gas emissions and requires 95% less energy than primary aluminumproduction. The company has created the first and largest closed-loop recycling systems in theworld. This allows it to take back as much of the customers’ aluminum scrap as possible, turning itback into the same product again. Closing the loop preserves the value of the alloy, reduces recyclingand transportation costs, minimizes environmental impact and establishes a secure supply chain. This business of Aditya Birla group connected very strongly with my personal ideology and sense ofbelonging towards the betterment and greener Earth. Not only has Aditya Birla group impacted mylife but has impacted the lives of numerous people this way.Being a small-town guy, one of the major challenges I faced was the inferiority complex compared tothat of the people from the metro cities. The facilities which the people from big cities had, were scarce and ofinferior quality in my city. But right from my childhood, I was a curious child and it was my curiositywhich led me to learn a lot of skills in my childhood and finally carrying valuable lessons with mewhen I went to pursue my bachelors in Ahmedabad. My curiosity led me to learn various skillsranging from singing to sports. I completed 5 years in classical singing along with 3 years classicalcourse in harmonium. When it came to sports, It was again my curiosity which led me to have aninterest in badminton, basketball, cricket, and snooker. Whenever there was any tournament, Iwould participate in all of them. From there, I developed the ability to self learn things. Ultimately IRepresented my District at state levels in badminton and also won many tournaments, Got selectedfor my school’s Under 19 category team at the age of 15, and also played as a center-forward for myschool's basketball. When it came to the graduation part in Ahmedabad, I was appointed as thecaptain of my college’s badminton team. As the captain of my college’s badminton, I led my team towin the Gujarat central zonal badminton championships. My curiosity also led me to be a part ofvarious clubs and here too I was appointed as the convener of my colleges annual technical festival. So, in the end, all I learned was that continuous perseverance leads to success if you dream big.Currently, as a part of my MBA journey, I am waiting for this big dream to fulfilled again being apartABG is one of them.
