In the run-up to the International Women’s Day on 8th March, Team InsideIIM urged women and men in management to tell their personal stories about their understanding of the various elements around gender equality, the revolutionary ‘Me Too’ movement, and other crucial events pertinent to the struggles of women in this world. The Strategy of ‘Kuaizi’ is perhaps the game changer for the emerging business collaboration between India and China. While the comparative advantages of both the nations and rise of global protectionism are two of the drivers presenting promising prospects, the Indian market is shuddered by the scarcity of human resources, skilled and competent enough to catalyse the business relations between the two nations. As of now, the presence of companies such as Cheetah Mobile, We-Chat, Alibaba and a few of its subsidiaries in India is grappling with high attrition rates. The churn at the senior level has either disbanded entire teams in cases like Cheetah Mobile or downsized teams to half in cases like WeChat, Alibaba, and UCWeb. I have been a crazy fan of the game of Cricket since my childhood. Encouraged by my father who introduced me to the game, many instances in the game have been lifelong lessons that I still continue to imbibe in my life. Indian IT professionals work with the world’s leading organizations not only to support their business and technology processes but also help them in fulfiling their business goals.
"When you venture outside and step out of your comfort zone, that is the time when you really discover yourself and realize your true potential." I am out on an expedition and NITIE is another beautiful part of this journey. Travelling has transformed the way I conduct myself and every journey further shapes me into a better human being. This is possible because of the various dimensions associated with travelling. As a tourist, one often tends to overlook these dimensions, but a traveller tries to explore as many dimensions as he can.
