Since the time I met one of my seniors last year who came back from his internship at H & R Block, I was excited to know that he filed taxes of the individuals who were either working in the organizations or in varied professions. It was interesting when he was reciting the stories and informing me how the work culture was. That was the time when I decided that I would definitely sit for its interview.
I sat in the car on a warm April morning, looking out of the window at the fields and forests passing me by, as my cab drove me steadily toward Aditya Birla Insulators, Halol (Gujarat) unit: my summer internship company. My mind was buzzing with thoughts of excitement, nervousness and a little fear as I pictured the next two months in an insulator manufacturing plant as an ABGLP Summer Intern (HR). Little did I know at that moment of nervous anticipation that the next two months would be the best and most memorable learning experiences of my life.
I interned at ZEE5, the OTT platform of Zee TV as a part of my summer internship. The moment I found out that ZEE5 was visiting my campus, an inner voice told me that I had to crack its interview at all costs.
Life always gives you such times where your entire life will change; you will have no idea about what just happened to you but it will give you an experience of a lifetime.
I have a really fruitful internship. I feel so lucky that I have the chance to work with LG.
The two months of internship of an MBA program are generally the indispensable part of the journey, & mine being no exception. I had the best of learning, industry insights, marketing knowledge, ground-level knowledge, networking and a lot of memories which I can cherish for the years to come. Imagine if MBA was the next obvious choice in your life; not your career, but your life. I felt so. I was stuck, stagnant and didn’t have a way forward. No, I was not a frustrated IT Engineer, but I wished to be doing something at some place which was exciting, and felt MBA was the right next step. And if it was so, what would you do to make it the best? It could vary from person to person.
