I graduated in the year 2017 with a Btech degree in Electronics and communication from NIT Durgapur. I was fresh out of college and was going to join my first company which was IBM. I was really excited for my first job and was eager to learn as much as I could. I underwent a 2 month training after which I would be assigned to a project. My colleagues and I were really eager to know the client we would be assigned to.
ABG(Aditya Birla Group) has always been an integral part of my life since the past decade when i first moved from a small village to a town where i first experienced the concept of super market though MORE stores that helped me to buy all the daily necessities at an affordable price. Since then my association with the group has more or less been growing. From shopping in Pantaloons and buying clothes from Peter England to my recent management graduate necessity a Van Heusen western suit. One thing that wondered me all this time was on how a single entity has managed to understand the needs of customers across different domains effectively and has catered value driven products for the customers over a span of all these years.
It is not only a brand, but it is also a backbone for millions of people serving day and night for achieving their dreams and their needs. Aditya Birla Group, an Indian conglomerate having a 162-year old legacy, whose mission is to deliver values to its customers, as well as its employees & shareholders, has made a mark in the country by delivering products in almost all the aspects of life. Aditya Birla Group has left no stone unturned and has shown its prowess in the fields in agriculture, cement Industries, chemicals, e-commerce, finance, mining, retail, and telecommunication.
Why is Aditya Birla Group big in my life?
It was around 2008, when I came to know about ABG brands. I remember at that time I was living in my old house. Water used to ooze inside my one storeyed house during monsoons. One day when the rain was pouring heavily water started oozing at a very high pace and all my notebooks got soaked. My handwritten notes got washed away completely. I was so vexed that I literally cried that day, several months of my hard work washed away in a matter of hours. Seeing me in profound pain, my father tried to motivate me. He asked me to be a fighter like a baazigar. He taught me to never give up in life and always be ready to start from scratch. I took his golden words as my mantra and worked really hard. In just two months I succeeded in resurrecting all my notes. That day I learnt that victory tastes even better when there are several loses attached in background.
