This line by Ayn Rand has made all the difference in my life from the moment I read it in a college that is redolent with the fragrances of heritage and tradition; Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, built with the help of Birla Education Trust. Although ABG and Birla Education Trust are not related in many ways but the values are the same. It was at this college and after it, during which I had my defining moments.

How back in the days children used to carry books in jute bags , attended classes under Neem trees, walked their way to schools, etc. Although things change with time but he didn't appreciate all the changes and being a kid I never understood his concerns. When I first read about global warming, the first thought that came to my mind was that “it is just a theoretical concept and nothing like this could ever  happen”. But as I learned more about it I understood the seriousness of the problem and was able to  understand my grand father’s concerns. I decided to do something about it but what can I, as an individual do about it when majority of the people around me are not even aware about it.
