The unique feature of our college is its close-knit culture. Every single day one ends up running into almost the entire batch of first and second year students and people end up knowing each other in a better way. Everyone is ready to help each other. Even though we don’t enjoy the same amount of resources as other colleges, this actually helps us learn management all the more living with diverse people from diverse background trying to make do with the limited constraints.

A memorable classroom experience in my B-school

Although it has only been a few weeks since college started and our interactions has only been limited to the few classes we have had, I have already got many classroom experiences that have become memorable. The peer-to-peer learning experience is something I’m really enjoying on a personal note. One of these memories is from a class on Information Technology Management where we were asked to read on one IT system of any industry for inventory management and then one by one we all went upto the board and started teaching about the system we had read about. This felt a lot productive learning about so many diversified things in such a short amount of time. I feel this is one thing I will continue to look forward to in the coming two years.

Introducing - some of my crazy batchmates

Some of my crazy batchmates are:

i) Shanky Garg- He is the actor of our batch who can mimic anyone and is a crazy person.

ii) Boda Manoj: He is the happy go lucky kind of guy. He always has a funny answer to whatever he is asked and yet he has the knowledge far better than most of the batch.

iii) Ashish Batra: A small guy from Patiala, he knows how to get the attention of the entire crowd to himself. From the way he talks to the way he carries himself, he distinguishes himself from the crowd.

iv) Aditya Bhale: He is a crazy guy in a good way. Always ready to help he has a diverse knowledge to boast about. From a Master degree in Tabla to opening a school for football, he can do it all. He is an incredible singer as well working alongside his father in his music school.

Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?

I would like to work for ABG Oil and Gas Limited of ABG Group of companies. I choose this company because I feel that it is here where I can utilise my engineering degree knowledge in tandem with what I learn at my MBA degree to the best possible. Adding to that the location of the company makes it possible to have a wide exposure to different people and cultures compared to what I have been able to interact with till now and along with the reach of ABG with different clientele will help me learn and grow exponentially in a short span of time.
